From the first cleared lot to a village
The first lot at Freedom Village was cleared in 2021. Since then, citizens and their families have made their homes on the land, a sawmill turns the village's own timber into lumber, the village makes its own brick, dirt roads wind through the land, and the community has welcomed David Muhammad as the first mayor of Freedom Village.
The land is held together as one tract and organised under a Declaration of Condominium, recorded with the Clerk of the Superior Court of Hancock County on 26 August 2022. That shared framework is what lets each citizen hold rights to their own unit while the village grows as one place.
Freedom Village is built by citizens, for citizens. Lots are offered only to active Freedom Nation citizens, and every new citizen studies the same principles and makes the same commitments you will.
