Casa de Primero is Spanish for ” the first house”. It is the first house built using the proven technologies of Freedom Builders. A 1500 square foot raised ranch located in the rear garden of the Freedom Labs showcases the abilities of Freedom Builders within the inner city of Atlanta. Benefiting from the accessible location of Freedom Labs, this model home is located less than 10 minutes from the Atlanta Hartsfield Jackson Airport.
The naturally grown elements at the Freedom Labs are used to build a fully functional home. Trees from the garden used for lumber, hardwoods for cabinets and furniture, earth for bricks, clay for roofing and interior tiles and sand for glass windows. The Freedom Labs’ onsite well, windmills and solar thermal instruments from the lab are used as a means to provide utilities to the home.
